Bottled. Very dark brown colour, with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, sweet coffee, slight smoke and alcohol. Flavour is syrup, slightly roasted malts, and slight alcoholic warmness. Lots of syrup in flavour and aftertaste. Not that good... Sweet and thin.

Other than blue mountain coffee and Bob Marley nothing good ever came out of or ever will come from the crap island of Jamaica. This isn’t beer. This is red stripe with a bit of chocloate malt and a ton of brown sugar added, aged for two days in some old socks ans sent on its miserable way to deplete us poor clowns of $2.50 and 30 minutes of our time. Well marketed swill. All bottles should be broken and forgotten.

Opaque black with a small, dense head. Very sweet aroma of alcohol and sugar. Some roasty malt in there but the sweetness dominates. Way too sweet and one-dimensional taste. Cloying and thick syrupy mouthfeel. Not my cup of stout.

Bottle. Rapidly disappearing head. Sweet, the sugar masks everything else. It might be a hit around the sugar plantations in the West Indies, but it is not a beer for me. Widely available in North London.

Courtesy of Santa.
Pours a dark ruby color and settles black with a pinky sized mocha colored head.
Molasses, raisins, sweet toasty chocolate and a light perfumey alcohol in the aroma.
Sweet raisin, brown sugar and molasses fore that tastes rather Schwarzbier-like. Probably too sweet for some, but is nice to my palate.

Bottle in Jamaica with some Jamaican friends and a Rastafarian. Very thick and black with a chalky feeling. Aroma and flavors of chocolate malt, caramel, and lots of maple and molasses while resembling a Malta (Jamaican softdrink). Everyone reports this brew as medium bodied but I remember it to be thick, especially as it warmed, which happens quick at the outdoor bars. This is the best Caribbean beer I’ve had.
