Black colored, little brown head. Sweetness, chocolate and medium alcohol in aroma, mild roastiness with some licorice too. Medium to full bodied. Flavor has chocolate, roastiness, mild coffee and licorice, aftertaste has medium alcohol with roastiness, coffee and some medicine tones.

Bottle from supermarket near Ochos Rios, Jamaica. Black, with a receding beige hairline. Aroma is promising, but not compelling. Flavour: molasses, thick coffe syrup and some alcohol to finish. Not big enough or flavoursome enough; a little watery in the mouth and the good flavours slip away. Nice, but not excellent.

Deep brown colour with a light brown head. Light roasted and sweet malty aroma with a vague coffee bitterness. Malty and sweet flavor with notes of chocolate. Sweet and light roasted finish.

Almost opaque black with quickly vanishing head. The aroma sweetish, and roasted with coffee, cola, rummy and lightly fruity notes. Coffee, licorice and raisins in the flavor. Long roasted finish with licorice notes. Tasty, a bit too sweet.

A black stout with a thin brown foam. A medium body, sweet taste, and long sweet after taste.

Pours a barely transparent dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of sweet sugary malts, dark fruits and authentic foreign stout character. Starts sweet sugary and malty with a smooth viscous lightly roasted finish. A sweet, true to style beer.

Probably one of the more complex beers that I have tried, but unforunitely not one of my favourites. Points for a thick head that stuck around till almost the end. A bit too many sweet flavours (cherries and some chocolate) for what I like in a stout. Not really something I would go out of my way to get.

Sugar and burnt wood come to mind, the bitterness there, but really dosent impress the palate, liked it but not much.
