A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. It’s not great, it’s not clever, but - apart from raging toothache from the sugar rot, this is an enjoyable ten minutes. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 6, 2005 Found this in London, never actually saw it in Jamaica. Easy on the palate, the alcohol is well concealed. Very roasty. Not very viscous, a little thin in that respect. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Feb 4, 2005 Bottled. Black/red colour, with a small head. Coffeish, slightly roastmalty aroma with a hint of something between cola and fruitiness. Tastes sweet, coffeish, roastmalty with notes of cola and cherries. Very nice, not as good as the Guinness Special Export I had, but still pretty nice.
