| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 27, 2005 From the bottle it pours a bit lighter than most stouts with twinges of red. Mouthfeel is light to medium with some roasted malts and bitter chocolate. Something tastes a bit off though, perhaps just a bit sour or lactic but really sweet. rudolf (1783), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 26, 2005 Deep, deep ruby - almost to the point of being black. head disappears quickly. Nose is cherry cola, a bit of bitterness. Really sweet. Cola continues, with alcohol and artificial cherry. Good but too damn sweet! DeepBlack (387), Derby, Derbyshire, England

Black colour.
Quite fizzy & sweet for a stout. Pretty stickt too, but not bad for all that. Nice to have a bottle of it but I certainly wouldn’t want to much... MrDick (278), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2005 I drank way to much of this while vacationing in Belize. It was the only decent beer (compared to Belikin Stout) that I could find in the local markets. From the first sip, I thought that this stout tasted like Kahlua. Very sweet with coffee, plum and chocolate flavors. This was an amazing pairing with some chocolate chips cookies! frylock (1025), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 26, 2004 Ruddy "clear" black with little to no head and lots of bird’s eye carbonation. Aroma is meaty and alcoholic with some roast, but not a whole lot. Smooth drink, but chalky with some candy notes (oxidation perhaps?). Not really roasty tasting and, though it’s in the nose, not alcohol tasting. I also got some sherry or port in the aroma and taste later in the bottle. Full body with a lot of carbonation.
