Black colour with no head. Sweet roasted malt and lactose aroma. Tiny hints of coffee too. Flavour is very sweet, roasted malt and lactose again. But no coffee. Quite exotic stout.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 3, 2009 Poured from bottle at Stout NYC. Served in a frosted glass - hmmm. Malt and sodda in aroma. Looks an awful lot like soda too - absolutely no head at all. I taste maraschino cherry, malt and alcohol. Despertely needs more malt for balance. Heady feel. Sickening finish. Corn syrup?! That’s just not right. howie (549), DeForest, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 30, 2009 Over-sweetened coffee. Curiously, like Guinness FES, I could enjoy this cold out of the fridge. Maybe these tropical stouts are designed that way. Papillon (177), Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2009 300 mL Bottle. The colour is of black coffee with a brown soapy head that settles to a thin soapy ring. The aroma is toasted malt, a hint of chocolate, and a very slight tang about it that is remiscent of herbs, black mission figs and a whisper of licorice. The taste is almost cola-like; sweet roasted / smoked malt, chocolate, and toffee, although a tad sweet for my liking. Sweet roasted malt and toffee linger a bit in the aftertaste ending in a clean finish. Well worth a visit by any dark beer afficionado. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Poured a dark brown color with a one finger brown head. The aroma was chocolate, roasted malt and some dark fruits. The flavor was very sweet caramel, with dark fruit and a hint of milk chocolate. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Aroma is fairly strong, smoky, oily and coffee-ish. Pours a dark chocolaty sable with a fairly thick but not too persistent beige head. Flavor is malty, smoky, and surprisingly sweet - but not cloying. There are hints of molasses and apple cider. Texture is quite smooth with just a little bit of a bite, and minimal fizziness. Not too shabby. Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England

You can get Dragon Stout in lost of small bottle shops across London. Everytime I drink this beer I think of Bongs and pot smokin ’ as a good marring to the beer ,not that I smoke that stuff myself. A very sweet and thick stout.Oily, chocolate and syrup.Dark fruit raisins and plums like you get in Lion Stout. Cool beer mohn! dchmela (1450), Orlando, Florida, USA
