Commercial Description:
Grand Crus are traditionally known as "The best beer that a brewery makes." This Belgian-style quad lives up to that name and then some. Available once a year, in May to celebrate our Anniversary.

750 thanks to dmschefke. Pours orange with decent head. Fruity. Not overwhelming for the style and not very caramel-ish. A light quad. Some sugar taste. Bit of toffee, but again, not very strong. Memories of drinking at Dragonmead when I lived in the area. Never saw this bottled in the five years I was there.

bottle thanks to ericanders. amber with ruby hints and a cream head. nose is yeast, fruits and spices. decent thickness with a lot of fruits and yeast.

bottle thanks to cletus. poured dark amber with a beige head. aroma was peach, dark fruits, caramel, and some cinnamon with the flavor matching the nose. light body with medium carbonation.

( 750ml bottle, courtesy of ericandersnavy ) Pours a clear amber body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of mustiness, candi sugar, raisins, toffee, and dates. Flavor of raisins, candi sugar, and toffee.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. The look is golden in color and has an off white head. The smell is malts, sweet, fruist, and ok. The taste is sweet, sugary, and fruits.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours with no head and a hazy golden body. Aroma of banana esters, alcohol and caramel. Taste is sweet, with honey, alcohol, and caramels. Kind of bland for a Quad. Light bubbles.

Bottle courtesy of ericandersnavy. Clear reddish orange. Scents are dry and rough. The aroma also has a small selection of sweet fruit. Taste is flavorful raisin and dark fruits. Some plum that fades. Tasty!
