Commercial Description:
This Belgian classic is made with about 40% wheat malt and unmalted wheat. Mt. Hood hops give a balance to the Bitter Orange Peel and Coriander spice that are used to recreate this Belgian taste. Refreshing and different you should experience this classic beer.

On tap at MBG Summer Festival. Poured a cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma was sweet and fruit with wheat and banana notes prevalent. Flavor was sweet with a banana flavor to it. Quite basic.

On tap at the Dragonmead Brew Pub. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. Aromas of some bananas and cloves. Tastes of some bananas, cloves, and wheat. An average witbier that didn’t leave a lasting impression - either bad or good.

Most people would disagree, I think this is dragonmead’s best belgian style beer. Slight banana and bread aroma. Yellow hue with a white head and excellent lacing. I did have this beer at a different time. (Different batch) It didn’t taste as good.

At the brewery. Lots of lace on a cloudy medium yellow. Creamy. Bitter and I did not get the sourness or wateriness, no question they got their act together on this one and that’s why it’s released over a year later. Good for its style.

Hazy off orange color. Moderate head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of some spice and fruit. Slightly bittersweet and then tart. Average.
