Poured a medium amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, earthy, and with some caramel. Tastes of the same citrus, earthiness, and toasted caramel. Not really bitter and definitely a British Style IPA. jstraw (777), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 20, 2008 On tap at brewery. Pours reddish amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma hops, caramel malt and light citrus. Flavor is malt and citrus. Where are the hops? How they can call this an IPA I don’t know. It is not hoppy enough to be even an APA. Disapointing. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Updated: Mar 22, 2009Bottle from miketd, thanks man! Poured a deep reddish-amber color with a thick, almost creamy off-white head that stuck around for quite a while. Light biscuity malt on the nose with some spicy floral hops and some light citrus fruit. Lightly bready malt on the entry with some spicy undertones and a light caramel sweetness transitions into a moderately earthy, floral hop finish. Nice mouthfeel and carbonation. A nice tasting beer, but it doesn’t seem to fit the IPA category. Solid effort. Jwasciuk (194), Lowell, Michigan, USA
