Smell is of raisins and prunes and toasty malts with some tropical fruit, caramel, and raw dough...Belgian bliss!
Taste is of the same aromas.
Mouthfeel is sweet, not cloying with yeasty fruit roughing up the brew for a true Belgian style.
...Side note: Had a week old growler of this after the draft at the brewery and it didn’t do the beer justice until I got to the bottom portion. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA

Aroma of bready and cakey malts with banana, bubblegum, citrus, and clove. Nice fruity profile---orange, lemon, banana, pear, white grape--complementing the bready malt, candi sugar and yeastiness. Hop additions lend a nicely piquant bitterness on the finish. Very smooth mouthfeel. I mistook this for a tripel. From the small sample I tried, a great beer. The nose is fruity and full of yeast - noting banana, plum and peppery alcohol. The body is full of apple, pear and yeast funk. The finish is long, fruity and dry. Really well done. drfabulous (1254), Columbia, Missouri, USA

The description says "white," but I’m not sure if I would call it a white. A light Belgian is about the best you can call this nice beer. jazz88 (2237), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 13, 2002 Tap. A light pale orange. Very smooth with a quick finish. I was kind of surprised this was a Belgian given the lack of a strong bite. A noticeable alcohol taste. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA

It may be an abbey ale of some sort, but that would make it a Belgian Strong since it’s really not fitting into a style. Anyway, Golden orange color, thin rign of tiny bubbles. Yeasty with notes of pear, banana, and apple, light spice. Medium creamy body, very light alcohol, some dryness. Good stuff, I was pleasantly surprised. hopdog (5606), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2005 Sampled from growler provided by weeare138 (thanks Mike!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with an averaged to larger sized off white head. Aromas of yeast and fruity. Tastes of the same with dark fruits. Somewhat sugary sweet. Alcohol content well hidden (didn’t know that until I just noticed it was listed as 8%). kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
