Commercial Description:
Dragonmead's Hemp ale has a great deal of malt character, in part, from the Chocolate Malt used in the brew. The Cascade hops give this beer a clean hop finish, but it's the roasted hemp seed that makes the flavor remarkable. Slightly roasty and nutty, Dragon Daze's complexity is sure to amuse. ABV 4.3%

Pours dark copper brown with light tan head. Nose is somewhat malty with a streak of nuttyness. Slight flowery notes. Flavor is lightly chocolaty with unique roastyness. Not sure what Hemp seeds taste like, but this definitely has a virginlike flavor. Mild dry finish.

Growler thanks to Kevin. This beer rocks. Due to its makeup its not gonna score high but its actually a damn good and unique beer. Nose is crazy with spicy french bread. I mean dead on crusty french bread. Pretty awesome really. Flavor is extreme french bread up front with a slight spicy rosemary like quality on the backend. A bit of hops. Medium body but not thin or watery. Really nice and unique beer. Super cool.

Dark mahogony color with an off white head. A creamy coffee smell. A sourish tate, sort of cherry like. A dry finish. Not sure how a hemp beer is supposed to taste, but this wasnt bad.

Sampled this beer at the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison WI. I was intrigued by the hemp ales this year (and there were quite a few). However, most were not all that tasty, including this one. Would rather have a wheat anyday.

Decent beer. Drank it before the incubus show in a large jug. Has a light red color to it, with minimal head

On tap: Chocolate nutty aroma. Mostly a transparent reddish-brown with a small off-white head. Very light chocolate nutty taste from start to finish. Not a lot of character to this beer.
