Commercial Description:
This is the ultimate Belgian style. The very high gravity of this beer is balanced by the smoothness of its finish. Banana and Clove aromas come from the Belgian yeast strain combining with the generous dose of Belgian Candi Sugar. The Saaz hops help to give this beer a balanced bitterness with no noticeable hop aroma.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy golden amber body with a medium white head. Aroma of coriander, orange peel, banana, clove, banana, and bubble gum. Flavor of honey, coriander, caramel malt, and light fruitness.

draft. pours hazy orange with little to no head. sweet yeasty aroma, some light clove. tastes of soft fruits (melon, banana). mild carbonation and a somewhat thick mouthfeel. alcohol adds a nice warmth but does not come across in taste. decent, but overly sweet and syrupy in my opinion. detracts from otherwise good flavoring.

Spice aroma and taste. Medium body. A touch sweeter than other tripels that I have tried.

Wonderful aromas and delicous mouth-feel make this my all-time favorite beer. I can see why the BJCP Guidelines site this brew as a classic example of style!

Smell reminds me of apple juice. Nice smooth appearance and taste. Would’ve never guessed it was 10% till about 20 minutes later ;) Lots of nice citrus taste. A great Belgian tripel.

Bottle. Thanks to Santa for sending me this. Pours a hazy golden body with thin head. Aroma is of belgain yeast, spices, and caramel(?). Flavor is sugary, spices, bitter and a little rough at times. Alcohol is noticable at times. 10%? Holy Crap!

Draft sample at MBGF07. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Complex spicy fruit and yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium fruity sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a solid beer.
