I can see why the BJCP Guidelines site this brew as a classic example of style! patrickmach (1), USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Oct 17, 2005 This is a very sweet trippel with a clean crisp finish. It has a complete flavor through and through, and is the signature beer for the brewery. I rate this top of tops because I have been up there every week to get more. lunaticharness (183), Roseville, Michigan, USA

huge belgian yeast backed aroma with lots of clove notes, nice orange yellow body with a thick creamy white head, huge syrup sweet crisp body with touches of deep rich orange flavor that was drying over the gentle bitterness of the hops definitely a stunner! proc (342), Dearborn, Michigan, USA

A nice presence of clove, nutmeg and pepper spice up this yeasty, malty treat. This is a liquid meal that is filling and satisfying. Complex and delicious. A beer to have when you are having one. Well-done.

I saved this one for my 100th rating, as it immediately became a new favorite. Pours a yellow hue with a small white head. Sweet candy aroma with hint of bananas. Taste is more banana and sweetness with a touch of other fruit flavor. I couldn’t pinpoint what I was tasting, but it didn’t matter. This beer was so smooth and dangerously drinkable. Highly recommended to anyone, regardless of your style preferences. 1000Routers (3), St. Clair Shores, Michigan, USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 24, 2006 I had this on tap at the brewery and at the Summer Beer Festival. Awesome! Full Body but not overpowering, perfect balance of Hops and Malt in a high alcohol beer. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Even though my scores on this are accurate and well researched, Da Man wants me to say more about the beer, so I will. This beer can best be described as well beyond great. I had seconds oc this bad boy, which with over 500 brews available, is pretty impressive. drfabulous (1275), Columbia, Missouri, USA

Four pack bought in Royal Oak at Holiday (which is becoming the best place in these parts to buy beer). Dragonmead is paradise in Southeast Michigan. When you can’t make it to Warren, it’s wonderful to be able to pick up a six. Belgian style. All the typical things and flavors one says about good Belgian style.
