MrStitch (138), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a huge head that leaves quickly and stays as a nice thin blanket. Smell is bananna bread. yeast, and zest. Taste is very nice... it’s almost like bananna bread beer to be honest. I think that is the only way that I can discribe the taste of this beer. Mouthfeel is a bit thin without enough carbontaion. That aside I really like this beer and would definitely recommend it.
WakeandBake (150), Greenville, Michigan, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle.Poured a murky golden-orange with loads of sediment, one finger head of tiny white bubbles, looks initially to be well carbonated.
The aroma has an agreeable yeasty quality that gives off sents of banana, spice, and clove. Actually a little spicy (pepper, maybe ginger too). Soft notes of citrus. Quite pleasant once it warms,at first I thought it may just taste like Heff by the aroma witch im not really a fan of. Mouthfeel is quite smooth and only mildly drying on the finish. Slightly grainy at times. A pleasing aftertaste that lingers. The taste is of dried citrus peel and banana, clove, coriander, pepper and other like spices. A little grain, and sweet malts. This brew is way better at almost room temp .
jstraw (523), Oak Park, Illinois, USA Oct 26, 2008 Hazy orange-gold with fair white head / Banana, wheat and honey nose / Medium to full body, sweet malts, with good fruit and long finish / Flavors of banana, orange, honey, bread, clove, and coriander / Very nice. grandet (319), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 15, 2008 Bottle from Ibrew2or3. Thanks man. Hazy yellowish orange pour with a nice fluffy white head. Arom is earthy with lots of fruit comming out. I am also getting some cinimmon on the nose. Quite refreshing flavor with lots of clove and banana. Lots of carbonation. Hides the alcohol quite well. WeeHeavySD (2034), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Sep 30, 2008 12oz bonus from masonjer. Pours orangy yellow with a tan head. Nose is sweet with citrus notes. Taste is sweet, yeasty, citrussy and highly carbonated. Overall a very enjoyable and not alcohol hidden trip. frankenkitty (1834), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Sep 30, 2008 Not much to speak of by looking at it (grit-hazed caramel-colored body under a wisp of a head), but BOY the power that comes out in the aroma! Fruity esters boil down to recognizable overripe banana, apples, pears, grapes (fruit cocktail) with caramel backing. Flavor is tart and tangy (or is that saying the same thing?), a little thin-bodied to carry what I expected to be more lush, fruity flavors. Fruity sourness in an alcoholic finish with light grapeskin astringency. Tasty and mind-altering, but I’d sooner grab a Sapient if I was seeking out a Michigan-brewed Tripel.

I think I remember stealing this bottle out of some selections that ElBorracho brought to a Fais Do Do last year. Thanks Scott!
