| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 22, 2006 Medium malty aroma. Hazy reddish apricot color with a vigorous tan/white head. Starts with a malty sweetness, there’s an interestingly unusual flavor component, then an earthy component. It’s not a typical amber. It’s really quite good. There’s a carob type of flavor in there. Decent mouthfeel. ogglethorp (887), Ohio, USA
