More than regular IPAs, I can really taste a US pale ale underneath the late hops. So for me, it is a Pale Ale that just happens to have major things hoppening, rather than a beer with a large hop profile fully integrated. I can taste the mineral, watery more malty character of the base beer and the contrast is well done. The late hops are dry and almost vaporous. Finish is like a peachflower. Unreal. Such good work. fidel (959), Livermore, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 27, 2009 Thanks to Taverner, pours clear copper with a halo of a cream head. Full, floral and pineapple nose. The flavor is slightly less enjoyable, but I can’t give it a 6.5. A bit dry on the palate with an earthy influence. markwise (1186), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 5, 2009 Bottle courtesy of friends at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours a clear gold with malt, hops, lime, and citrus aroma. Flavor is crisp lemon, some water, and malt quickly going tart to hops and leaving a slightly biting feeling. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 5, 2009 Pours dark gold, lots of carbonation, and a huge, rocky explosion of a white head. Thick lacing. Big helping of pine and citrus (orange peel) in the nose; wet and grassy, with some straw. Nice, crisp, clean taste. Bitter and biscuity up front, you can really taste the crystal malt. Moves slowly into an earthy, piney IPA-like flavor as it sweetens. More citrus as well. Not necessarily a dry finish, but abrupt. Light mouthfeel. One of the best APA’s I’ve had.

Pours a dank, deep copper with soapy tan head. The aroma is pure musty hoppage, the flavor dry bitterness. Damn good! After getting a sixer of this stuff - it is the perfect session beer! Only 5%! | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2008 The flavor is hoppy and malty but it felt emasculated: like it was missing something. The texture was creamy and very fizzy. Overall Id say it was decent; the appearance and aroma got my hopes up though. BMan1113VR (2886), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours with a hazy orange body and a nice, thick off-white head. Aroma of pungent citrus hops, with a bit of mango or papaya and sweet caramel. Taste is on the maltier side of things with a bit of soap, hops and caramel. Lively bubbles.
