Nov 17, 2006 Draft at Drake’s/ This is probably the most hoppy Pale Ale ever. It pours golden with a small head. The aroma is dominated by hops and flowers. The flavors are more of the same, quite aggressively hopped. Very nice mouthfeel and palate. A nice bitter finish, well done.

Nov 13, 2006 Draft at Drakes tasting 11/10/06; Nose was all hops! Hazy dark gold with a small white head, flavor was all hops also!

Nov 6, 2006 Beer 45. Very cloudy but a very hoppy aroma. Taste is almost more like an IPA or a doulbe than an APA, so well done for only 5.5%. Almost too much - I can’t believe I said that.

Oct 4, 2006 GABF 2006. My man Rodger does it again. This guy knows how to brew hoppy beers and this is yet another example. As Rodger said, 1/2 the Denoggonizer. Huge clean, crisp, fresh hop aroma. A great beer when you want hops but don’t want to over do it w/ a high alcohol double IPA.

Oct 2, 2006 GABF 2006. The beer pours to a clean golden body with a nice white head. Excellent lacing. Lasting head. The aroma has apparent simcoe, but the other hops and some of the 2-row also comes forward. Lots of toasty cereals and some light fresh hops. Very drinkable.

Jun 28, 2006 Had from cask at Pizza Port’s Real Ale Fest. Hops and honey on the nose, very smooth medium bodied mouth with more honey and sweet floral hops. Enjoyable.

Jun 27, 2006 (on-tap @ Cato’s) pint is a gorgeous bright-glowing amber with a slight head that sticks around as a heavy collar and and laces well. nose is pure clean hop juice - wonderful tangerine-like citrus notes mixed with pure northwest pine needles. flavor is again hops first, but the malt underpinning is quite pleasantly grainy, with a clean, lightly toasted charecter. the hop flavor is clear and well defined. alcohol is not apparent. very nice, clean, balanced beer - a very satisfying IPA (yeah yeah, I know they call it an APA).

Jun 24, 2006 On tap at Drake’s. This amber ale poured with a moderate off-white head. There is a medium body with a bit of maltiness and a serious hop bite.
