Draft. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Yeasty, spicy, malty aroma. Rich caramel malt, yeast, and spice flavor. Medium bodied. Lingering rich malt, spice, light yeast. Could use more time to dry up. Nice spice/yeast components.

On-tap at Stone. Pours hazy amber/brown with a medium size, crisp white head, some lace. Smells light, crisp and sweet. Cinnamon, bready and malty. Tastes sweet and spicy malty. Cinnamon some pepper, even a bit of sherry cough syrup. Medium body, crisp carbonation.

10th rating of this beer. On Tap @ stone. This doesn’t look like a tripel to me. Pours thick syrupy brown, nose is sweet taste is sweet but rudy and quite malty good brew

Draft at Toronado. Dark amber with almost no head. Aroma is very sweet malt and bubblegum / banana sweetness. The flavor is the same, some sweet caramel malt, bubblegum, sugar, and a little grassy yeast in the end. Kinda flavorful, but too sweet overall.

On tap at Toronado on Drakes Night. This is the 2000th batch of beer from Drakes, and it’s a good one. This malty beverage poured with a short beige head. It is subtly sweet with plum and raisin notes and a nice spice finish.

Tap @ Stone. Pours clear copper with a small white head. Soft aroma of caramel, yeast, and spice. Drinks a lot like a Belgian strong, with a finish of bubblegum, clove, and yeast, with some bitter/sourness. Good.

On Tap @ Hamilton’s. Pours a bit deeper in color than your average Tripel, a very deep yellow color with almost no head. Aromas of cooked banana, light citrus and some Belgian yeast. Flavor was much of the same with a crisp finish, brew is medium in body.

On tap at City Beer, pours hazy pale copper with a thin off white head. The nose is floral and a nice dose of spices. These flow well into the flavor, with a bit of heat. Lively on the palate.
