Must be a different batch than listed here, alcohol is listed at 8.5%. Pours with a brown color and a nice head. A wonderful brew, very well balanced and complex. Yeasty flavors, with some caramel and banana flavors. Nice full mouthfeel, smooth finish. I would call this a Belgian Dubbel. alexanderj (2280), Chino Hills, California, USA

The flavor is sweet and fruity with a very slight spiciness and a touch of yeast. Medium to full bodied and smooth with a slight dryness. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 16, 2007 On tap @ Drakes. Bready aroma and deep copper color with small off white head. This was like Chimay white with a few sugar cubes in it! A bit cloying on the mouthfeel, but a decent flavor. If bottled, it would probably be quite nice after a year or so. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA
