Tap at the Bistro’s 1st Annual Barrel Aged Festival 11-11-2006. A light brown color. Smooth wine-like fruits, tobacco, light malts and a tart vinous element.

Draft at Bistro’s 1st Barrel-Aged Beer Festival, 11/11/06;Nose of Barnyard, caramel, and oak; hazy brown with a ring of tan bubbles; flavor of tart grapes, caramel, and spices.

On tap at Bistro’s 1st Barrel-Aged Beer Festival. 3 ounce sample. Sour, acetic, pleasant funky aroma. Brett is definitely present. Moderately hazy amber color with an off white head and scant lacing present. Lightly sour, funky start. Turns malty and caramelly in the middle. Finishes with some nice perfumey and floral flavors. Pretty good.
