Commercial Description:
We leave the yeast in our authentic Bavarian-style wheat beer to give it a cloudy appearance and creamy texture. This spicy, fruity beer has hints of clove and banana and is crafted for easy drinking.

An outstanding wheat from one of the best brewers on the West Coast. Aroma is nice with hints of yeast. Appearance wasn’t as cloudy as I’ve seen in some wheat’s, but it was a nice dark golden color. Mouthfeel was incredibly silky, very creamy. Flavor had clove, crackers, bananna and some pepper in it. I could drink this all night. VERY well done by an awesome brewery."

Lightly hazed straw color with a moderately sized, big bubbled off white head. Light citrus and silicon aromas. Just a hint of sweet wheat in the background. Lightly spiced flavors on a weak malt ride. Quite acidic in the finish. A cross between an american wheat and a wit. Light grass comes out more in the linger. Somewhat quenching, but the acid and quinine in the finish make it hard to continue.

Bottle. Nice hazy yellow color. Aroma is strong citrus. (grapefruit) Flavor again is more citrus than a banana type flavor. Definite spicyness as well. Not a true German hefe, but not exactly like an American wheat either. I guess that makes it unique, and for that, well done.

"A pint a day keeps Scury away" reads the label. This beer pours a cloudy honey amber. Sweet summer grass aroma with orange, banana and yeast tones. Very smooth to drink and not bitter. Mouthfeel like a cider but finished very clean. You just can’t discount a beer style until you have one done right and this is a great example of a Hefe-weizen.

Harsh aroma of loam and rot with a little fruit sweetness. Cloudy pale yellow. Thinnish head that faded fast. Bannana, yeast and some citrus along with warm cereal grains in the flavor. Cereals become pronounced in the aftertaste.

Pours a hazy orange color. Smells a little grainy. Has a bit of an apple aroma as well. Rather tart and grainy tasting. Finish is fairly bitter. Decent but not great stuff.

Bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with a larger sized white head. Aromas of cloves, lemons and bananas. Tastes of lemons and lighter bananas and cloves. Light wheat in the tastes as well. Refreshing.

Cloudy loud yellow color with a small head. Mellow aromas for a hefe. I didn’t get much banana/clove in the nose at all. Taste was more hoppy than anything with lemon. A nice interpretation of the style. Nice and refreshing without being too sweet.
