Poured blackish brown with a thin tan head...smell is sweet alcohol with some beef jerky...taste is overly sweet and quite one sided...finish sticky and gross...

Had on tap at the brewpub in Austin, Tx. Pours a black as night black with a thin, off-white head. Aroma has some chocolate noteswith a bit of licorice. Flavor has that sweet sugary Draught House taste that can get cloying, but in this one does not. Mouthfeel is decent enough. Overall, a most decent brewpub Belgian.
