Very, very dark brown with a small amount of off-white head. I could smell hints of chocolate. Taste was lighter than I expected. Finish was pretty bitter. This was the second house brews I tried last night; very good.

Pour is dark brownish black with a thin tan head...nice warm and toasty nose with some cocoa and rye bread notes...taste is lightly sweet and roasty with the same chocolate and rye bread flavors...finish is a little bittersweet with an interesting earthy bitter finish...I’ve really started liking the shit out of Josh’s session beers...just sturdy well made stuff.
