jjpm74 (3447), Connecticut, USA Nov 29, 2008 Growler courtesy of slimchill. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells resiny and citrussy. Tastes overly astringent and caramelly. Not much to this one. slimchill (694), Austin, Texas, USA Nov 1, 2008 Draught. Fresh hop nose, grapefruit hops and light caramel. Cloudy brown-orange with a thin patchy head leaving nice lace. Flavor leads with a strong but balanced bitterness and citrus flavor, with a touch of alcohol. Creamy palate that matches the intensity of the bittering hops. Nicely done. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA May 16, 2008 5-4-08 tap at DH <br />
Thick unfiltered amber red brown pour with a decent thick ivory white head and immediate lacing everywhere. Nice floral sweet tulips smell. Flavor is beautifully mild and balanced. It is hoppy and sweet and is not boozy or fanatically hopped. Great thick mouthfeel that just coats the tongue with a nice sweet mild hop blanket. Another home run from the Draught House. lb4lb (1546), Austin, Texas, USA May 8, 2008 Pours a gorgeous reddish amber with a light beige head. Smell is big fruity, gummy hops with house flavor and scent. Taste is fruity, hoppy and fairly bitter but with a good maltiness behind it. Good flavor and body. Nice beer. kidmartinek (777), austin, Texas, USA May 7, 2008 Pours the color cloudy tea with very little head. Smells like mild spicy hops, and a bit of sour malt. Taste is very hoppy, floral, bittersweet, and spicy. Texture is thin but a little sticky. The palate is intense and just a hop explosion. A very floral hop aftertaste stays around for a long time.
