pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Nov 5, 2007 9-21-07 on tap. Smell a bit of the Belgium yeast trash aroma. Cloudy, murky amber color. Difficult for me to drink. lb4lb (1546), Austin, Texas, USA Sep 22, 2007 Cloudy orange honey pour with a bit of off white head at the draught house<br />
Very hefeweizen like yeasty aroma. Taste of spices, coriander, clove, all the usual hefe suspects. Typical fruity backing I’m noticing in all their non stout-y beers. This isn’t a pale ale as listed here, but rather as indicated on their website, a "Hefeweizen dry-hopped with Pacific Jade. Kaffir Lime leaves added. " Decent enough, but I don’t care for hefeweizens. HumuloneRed (746), Vancouver, Washington, USA Dec 22, 2004 Josh brewed this beer with hops he brought back from New Zealand. It pours a murky reddish color with good head and lacing. I get a lot of pine in the nose and flavor. Kind of winey. It seems a little odd at first but the more I drink it the more I like it. Good body and dry finish.
