Golden beer. Slightly burnt orange. White head. Finger length. Nose is utterly floral. Mounds of hop tea goodnes. Orchids and bitterness reign. Cracker like malt is faint but nothing much else than the hop florality. Licorice and pineapple maybe. Flavors change all that though. Bitter and excellent but missing something. Malt backbone is quite thin. Overcarbonated in relation to the bitterness and lack of malty sweetness. Cracked rye is present and appreciated but not enough to carry the hops. Mouthfeel is slightly thin as well.

Foggy orangish red with small white head and slight lacing. Smell is sweet malt and lemon zest. Flavor is nice and has a nice amount of hops that really balance with the rye flavor well. Mouthfeel is smooth and fitting. Overall, another great brew from the DH (keep on truckin’ Josh).

Draught. Strong cascade nose, orange and grapefruit. Cloudy brown-orange with a thick white head. Good balanced flavor, huge hop finish held in check. Could be a bit fuller bodied but highly drinkable.

Bitter sweet nose with some roasted hops. Pours a dark cloudy orange/brown. Thin elegant head. Sweet citrus flavor, orange peel, hearty grains, and bitter/sweet dry hops. Great mouth feel. Chewy palate with a smooth balanced dry finish.

Pours glowing medium to dark orange color with a light head. Smell is malty and hops in balance with some rye in the nose as well. House yeast flavor comes into this as expected along with a good mildly hoppy, zesty rye flavor. Crisp bitterness and a good mouthfeel, and this is very sessionable. Really nice beer.
