Clear blond coloured beer, small white head, medium carbonation. Herby spicy aroma. Medium palate, bit wattery. Finish is bitter, slightly dry.

66 cl bottle..Pours clear yellow, w/ a fizzy white head. Very little on the nose...a little malt, grain. The flavor was alos very light and watery. Mostly grains, malt with a faded hop backbone. The beer was very palatable with a light body, and slight bitter-sweet finish.

A classic Italian golden lager. Aroma is slightly hoppy, but well balanced. Finish is try, and grainy at times. Aromas of malts and corn. Taste is a little bitter.

Ah Milano, home of high fashion. I spent a holiday there promenading the main street in eager anticipation of the moment when my prominent cheekbones, buns of steel and rippling stomach would be recognised by a passing talent scout who would whisk me onto a catwalk, shovel obscene quantities of drugs and cash my way and invite me to sleep with Naomi, Linda and others of their ilk. Oddly, this did not eventuate, which shows how much Milan fashion scouts know about talent. Enough to support a multi-billion dollar a year industry, obviously, and enough to keep the riff-raff out. Wankers. Speaking of talent, you don’t have to be a scout to recognise there’s little on show in this beer. Yet another sweet, malty Mediterranean lager. Cheap, grainy aroma backed up by some sweetish malts and buttered corn. Sweet and malty flavours - too sweet to be refreshing, IMO. Low bitterness. No off-notes but it passes without leaving any real impression. Just Heineken doing what Heineken does. (33cl bottle from Liquor on Parade, Kingsford. BB 3/09)

Bottle 0.66 l and can 0.33 l. Pale yellow, firm white head. Malty nose with some hoppy freshness. Flavor is malty and dry. Slightly peppery aftertaste with crisp and lively carb. Not hop(e)less by any means, but not exactly a treat either.

not the best or the worst beer I had in italy. the flavor level is akin to that of san benedetto (a sparkling bottled mineral water)
