The aroma is nice and fresh and fruity but it has taken awhile for this to come around. Weak grapefruit, fake orange, rich malts, perfume, some floral and a bit of grain can be found on deep breaths - a little different which is nice. The taste is really nice to start with but I got bored in the middle of the bottle then started to pound it because it went down so easy. Nothing in your face: rich malts at a small dose keep then in check, leafy hops, light fruit with no flavour standing out, bit of spice and zip. Wow... didn’t really say anything there, did I? The carbonation is too much for me to really dig this brew. Goes down light and quick, tangy finish with a stiff but short lived bitterness. A decent drinking beer for sure; a nice Canadian craft selection. Crit (2404), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

Pours a thin, white foamy head with an orange body. Very fresh, mix of German hops and pacific northwest. Really blends well. Not too heavy with malt, a nice crisp beer. Very satisfied. 8/4/8/4/17

Aroma was "different", perhaps the so-called "cotton candy malt notes"? Whatever, I was not enchanted by the nose. Taste was a decent blend of hop and malt. Mouth was alright, and there was a bitterness at the finish. A drinkable but very average beer. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2009 Clear golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is light and fruity initially with a touch of light pale malt. Fairly aromatic with a light cotton candy and perfumey sweetness. It initially shows a touch of diacetyl, but this settles down fairly quickly. Quite fruity with just a touch of light bitterness. There is a touch of light zesty hoppiness and a bit of lemon. Sort of a UK-style golden ale and reasonably tasty. Nice summer brew. JHunter (245), British Columbia, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 29, 2008 Rich, sweet malts blend nicely with spicy, grassy, pine-like citrus hops in the nose. Clear, deep golden coloured body is topped by an enthusiastic white head that recedes slowly and laces well. Light cereal malt character with spicy hop flavours and medium bitterness. Somewhat sweet and floral in the finish. Medium light body with crisp carbonation. Somewhat slick in texture. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle. Brewery Creek. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 30, 2008 Pours a rich clear gold with a thin but lasting head and nice lacing. Sweet pale-malt aroma with a touch of fresh oily hops. Great malt backbone with a wonderful hop finish - I don’t notice the German hops, but perhaps they simply temper the PNW hops which come through quite nicely. Quite a lot of carbonation and a pleasingly crisp body. This is so sessionable - balanced but at the same time bold and tasty. A nice start for a new brewery!
