Commercial Description:
One of our darker styles on tap. Great lasting mouth feel along with hints of chocolate make this beer a memorable experience. Not for the faint of heart.

10.01.05 Dark cola pour looks like a porter...but with a richer tan head. Nice roasty malts showcase burnt prunes, caramelized brown sugar, and lots of smooth chocolate. I don’t normally dig on chocolatey porters because they usually feel forced, but this one’s got a beautiful and subtle smoothness to it that doesn’t tyr to interact with the caramelized malt love. Fruity sourness pervades and toasted nut oiliness adds to finishing length.

Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma had just a mild roast to the chocolate nose. Very smooth and creamy with a lighter body and mocha finish. Trailing behind was a light cocoa aftertaste.

A surprisingly good Porter with a somewhat sweet palate compared to most Porters, and very strong molases overtones.

Very dark brown colour. Deep chocolate nose with hints of coffee. Sweet, with rich chocolate, light coffee, slight hint of nuts. Full-bodied and creamy. What I like about this beer is precisely what the leitrim65 didn’t like.

On tap at Ray’s Boat House. Good looking black color with a small reddish tan head. The aroma is chocolate and coffee. Smooth but kind of overpowering on the rich dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and smoky flavors. Interesting but again a little too much.
