Draft at brewery (4th anniv): Rich with chalky cocoa and caramel. Earthy. Very snappy hop presence, with tart grapefruit. Big bitterness in the finish. Decent stuff.

From the Bottle at Indulgences Etc, Denver 23/09/2009 Big hop aroma. White head. Golden coloured and a little hazy in appearance. Very hoppy and fruity pineapple flavour with a little dryness in a crisp and bitter finish.

On tap at Dry Dock this was listed at 10.8% so I odered a half-pint. nice yellow color with soapy lacing, looks quite good. The aroma is nice and hoppy, citrus. the taste is much the same but towards the end I was really tasting colmbus hops. The nice thing about this beer was that the mouthfeel made me think it was truly a double IPA but the high alcohol was imperceptible.
