| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 8, 2008 Sampled at Cellar’s WIne & Spirits weekly beer tasting in St Paul, MN. Pours a hazy copper amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film and ring. Aroma of some golden malt, a touch of figs, basket wood, and some grassy hops. Taste is medium bodied with flavors of mild multi-grain malt, grassy hops, and dry herbal tea and light fruit. Finish is slightly watery, some herbal tea aftertaste with a mild bitterness that quickly disappears. BückDich (4830), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Bottle: Murky copper, light sticky head, some lacing. Nose of light oxidized malt and grassy hops. Light oak and fig, nice feigned aging. The flavor is musty and malty. Thick restrained finish. Meh. nwilder (40), Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Reddish copper with a loose off-white foam. In the nose it comes across malty with a clear caramel and bisquit side and sub-notes of dried dark fruit. The taste starts with caramel, mineral crispness, a very light mouthfeel that some would consider watery, and a significant amount of carbonation for the style. After the initial impression it shifts into a floral hoppy note that gently subsides as a drying bitterness grows. BuckeyeBoy (1654), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Bottle This one pours out a amber rust topped with a off white head. Aroma of thick malt. Tast more malt and boy O boy you could tell this was Organic. I said it before. What is it with organic brews and not tasting that good??? WISEGUY572 (1245), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Not my favorite example of the style. Malt and English hops, but not Marris Otter, not Fuggles or Goldings. More floral than bitter in the taste, although moderate bitter finish. Overall sense is a beautiful beer, more watery than bitter. Beautiful deep amber, clear, with bright head that vanishes quickly. Nose of malts and floral hops. Taste of malt and floral hops, but without intensity, moderate bitter finish. Thin in the mouth. jake65 (1698), Williston, North Dakota, USA

Flavor is earthy with malts and roastiness, nice bitters presence. A little caramel and toffee. Nice representation of the style. Maverick34 (698), New York, USA
