| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 24, 2007 Nose is gently fruity and sweet. Pours a slightly muddy amber. Flavour follows the nose, developing into honey and orange notes. Mouthfeel lets it down a bit, as it is very watery. Finish disappears almost immediately. Alright, but nothing to write home about. puzzl (2602), New York, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Bottle. Soapy, vegetal aroma. Up front english hop bite transforms to a slightly doughy, dry finish. Unfortunately, the far finish becomes increasingly soapy, to the point where 2 or 3 minutes after a sip you are dying for something to clean out your mouth, which pretty much ruins an otherwise decently average beer. Aroma is earthy, light citrus fruit and malt. Flavor is caramel, light orange/fruity, and is quite smooth. aknod (16), USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 17, 2007 worth trying. solid, balanced and is not heavy on the palate or your gut. It froths nicely without the overburdening head that never ceases. One characteristic is its clean tasting properties which draws attention to the care taken to produce the beverage. Brownish in color, almost an amber hue. Enjoy! Boutip (2347), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Bottle: Poured a deep slightly cloudy amber ale with a nice foamy head with average retention. Aroma of fresh English hops is quite interesting with nice dose of light caramel malt. Taste is quite dry with some English hops coming out quite clearly with a nice base of English caramel malt. Body is full for the style with some adequate carbonation. MarkoR (224), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2007 Bottle from England via Tupalev. Amber body with a good sized fluffy white head. Lightly earth malt and hops in the aroma is very "English", light green note to the hops. Sweet bready malt is ever so slightly toasty up front, and hops are subtle at first, but once you pick up on the subtle orange of the hops it is ever present, dancing along with light caramel malty flavours. Average, not quite medium palate suits the beer. Very nice. A touch more hops would suit my palate better, but this is a very nice beer that I could see drinking many pints of in a London pub. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 16, 2007 A quite interesting ale. Hoppy, but I’m not sure at all what type. A bit of sour. Long lingering subtle bitter. Picture a fuller, heavier Bass. Not something I’d drink everyday, but a great change up when I’m bored with my everyday favorites.
