Brilliantly clear copper coloured body is topped by a low but lasting large bubbled off white head. Butterscotch and caramel blend well in the flavour with mild offsetting bitterness to prevent it from becoming cloying. Mildly astringent medium light body with somewhat watery texture and fair to low carbonation. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (BB 13-May-09, Brewery Crek, Aug-08). | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Purchased at the Spinnakers Spirit Merchant in Vic West. Pours a headless light copper body. Nose of caramel malt and golding hops. Very mild flavour, the hops kick it up a bit but all in all its fairly plain like most of the organic beers I’ve encountered. Somewhat thin texture with a tart hop finish. Average oh6gdx (8838), Vasa, Finland
