Aug 27, 2008 The was $4.45 for the bottle at the Northcoast Coop in Arcata, CA.. IT poured a hazy amber to brown color with not much head and lacing. Aroma of malts and ripe fruti. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor shows some hops with a little bitterness, which also shows in the finish. This is quite drinkable but not in the least remarkable.

Aug 23, 2009 Nothing wrong with this beer at all, other than it lacked any real interesting character in aroma or flavor. Just kind of a bland ale, but refreshing. Aroma is light iced tea, a bit of sweetness and some wet paper. Appearance was a very nice clear amber body with a nice 2" off-white head. Head left behind some decent lacing clings. Flavor had a bit of earthyness to it, light caramel and light spice notes. Went down very easy. Very nice mouthfeel.

May 3, 2007 LCBO bottle purchase- Pours deep amber, topped with a frothy beige cap. The aroma is of fresh hops, green fresh cut grass, bubblegum, maybe some bread, biscuit. The flavours are very fresh and dripping with hops. Nice sweet caramel, bready/doughy, thrills gum, a touch of leafy greens. FInishes puckering, bitter, good.

Apr 24, 2005 Bottled. Amber coloured, small head. Nice hoppy character, pleasantly bitter. Not overly complex, but worth a try.

Oct 5, 2005 (on bottle)Rusty orange, steady, white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, creamy mouth feel; quite big actually. Round flavours of the malts, hints of chestnuts and wet wood. The finish was mild at first, then turned dry and bitter - in a hazel/hop kind of way.

Apr 29, 2006 Pours dark reddish amber with a fully receding off-white head. Aroma is light bready and malty, toffee, and caramel.
Taste has mild grassy hoppiness with light caramel, tofeee, and an ending note of herbal bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with light lively carbonation.

May 8, 2007 Bouteille de 500 ml. Rousse claire, petit collet. Légé arome d’houblon sucré, un peu amère. Goût simple d’houblon sucré, peu d’amèreturme. Facile à boire!

Jun 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours an orange/brown, just a small ring of white head. Aroma of honey, pear, raisin, and apple juice. Flavor of wheat, lots of apple, tartness. Sweet, light body, very simple and mellow. This beer is subtle, not in your face with flavor, which is why I liked it a lot. Tasty and light. Delicious.
