Very earthy and malty aroma, with some yeast as well. Alcohol present in the aroma as well. Flavours fairly subdued, mainly grainy/malty with some woody hops. Nice round body, and good soft carbonation. Better than the sum of its parts because it’s very drinkable. Slacks (487), Bolton, Ontario, Canada

Poured cloudy and orange, a decent white head. The aroma was surprising, very sweet. The taste was much lighter than I’d expected from the aroma, very pale, hints of citrus and a good serving of hops. It’s well balanced, pretty good. STEPHENDR (478), California, USA

Scents include citrus, spice and some dough. First taste was a little over carbonated and a little thin.Strong hop flavour with a bitter finish. Hops continue through the palate a little too much. PaulHegedus (468), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada

It’s a really warm amber orange in colour with a sizable off-white head. There’s soft toffee in the aroma with some dark grapes, raisin then orange and light grapefruit in the hops. The mouthfeel is thin and a bit on the watery side. In flavour, it’s an ale full of bready malt, some honey, orange zest with light grass and dandelion in the hops. The finish is medium with citrus and mild bitterness. chimplechamp (465), Oslo, Norway

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear orange-hued amber with a fine off-white head with good retention. Fruity aromas and a caramel maltiness, which is almost choclately at times. A good balance between the caramel and fruitiness of the malts and the grassy hop quality with a mild biscuity tone. Mild carbonation, oily palate texture and lasting hoppy finish. Nice. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
