Bright gold with big head, only a thin head retained. Decent hop aroma, not revealing the presence of some dirtier flavors, musty and malty. Smooth palate. Above average, and compliments to Prince Charles for driving the organic line, although that angle is not something that drives most beer drinkers, I think. I agree with Duff that this beer doesn't escape from the overall mediocrity of composition that Wychwood gives most of its beers. Defreni (1034), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Ekstrem drikbar med en meget lille snert af bitterhed til sidst. Udemærket af en økologisk øl, med et håb om at der snart kommer mere af den skuffe. sm89walt (466), Norwich, Norfolk, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear orange-hued amber with a fine off-white head with good retention. Fruity aromas and a caramel maltiness, which is almost choclately at times. A good balance between the caramel and fruitiness of the malts and the grassy hop quality with a mild biscuity tone. Mild carbonation, oily palate texture and lasting hoppy finish. Nice. Swalden28 (1531), McKinney, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Bottle at cellar temperature. It’s a really warm amber orange in colour with a sizable off-white head. There’s soft toffee in the aroma with some dark grapes, raisin then orange and light grapefruit in the hops. The mouthfeel is thin and a bit on the watery side. In flavour, it’s an ale full of bready malt, some honey, orange zest with light grass and dandelion in the hops. The finish is medium with citrus and mild bitterness. cfrancis (357), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 12, 2009 Very smooth beer, hop taste but with little or no bitterness afterwards, which I found odd. Pleasant to the palate but it falls short with the fullness and length.
