The aroma was quite good, sweet floral hops, with piney and citrus hints too. Some caramel malt, and some fruity scents too of pear and orange. It poured a cloudy, orange-amber color with a thin white head that was quickly gone. The taste was a unique with mild bitterness, some sour aspects and a hearty wheatiness; it really did taste extra fresh and organic. The beer was wet with only light carbonation and a slightly dry finish; it had a grainy, natural taste and texture. When I was done the aftertaste and feeling in my mouth was almost as if I had just eaten a pear. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Aroma is pleasant, brown sugar and fresh hops. Taste is quite nice, lightly toasted malt and some diacetyl very well balanced by anglo-hops. Good hoppy finish, decent carbonation and quite creamy body. Not a bad bitter! cyrenaica (440), Milton, Ontario, Canada

I tried this beer on March 3, 2008 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a slightly hazy pinkish red with very little head. The aroma was mainly malty with some nutty and hoppy tones. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with high carbonation. The flavour was surprisingly hoppy with some malty tones. Pour a brownish golden with a white head and a spicy, hoppy aroma with notes of wet grass. The tast is spicy and hoppy with notes of oranges, other citrus fruits, sweet malts, sweet grains, old hay and herbs. A nice spicy finish makes this a nce bitter1 DeanF (298), Paris, France
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Very nice and appealing aroma of breadiness and barley that makes the brew definitely inviting. Looks good, nice brown colour, could likely use more head. I like this flavour - bready but fruity, some sweet notes and citrusy hints, slightly dry finish but not too dry. Feels okay on the mouth. A really good ale overall and definitely worth a little attention. beersearcher (239), Glendale, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2009 This is a solid session beer. There is a malt backbone and slight sweetness that make this a step above the standard English Ale. There is even a little bit of hop taste that fights through. jerohen (1614), Bussum, Netherlands
