Duckstein Rotblondes Weizen

Bottle. A fruity aroma, banana and some roasted malt. A normal large white creamy head with a normal duration. The body is red-brown. The taste is light bitter, somehow tasting burned. The finish is dry. The body is rather light, light dry and creamy with a normal carbonation.

Unclear amber of color with a beige head. An aroma of banana, weak spice, sweets and yeast. A flavor of fruits, apples and sweets.

500ml bottle. Hazy orange coloured with a huge off white head. Aroma of fruits, bananas and spices. Flavour of fruits, bananas and spices

Sampled at GBF09 Hazy deep golden with a white head. Stale, papery maltiness. Yeasty, dough-like flavour.

Biggish white lasting head. Hazy opaque reddish orange body. Wooden banana aroma with roasty lacquer notes. Dry-sweetish delicate roasty earthy banana taste with peppery herbal milky notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry delicate wooden grassy peppery aftertaste with dried fruit notes. Very nice. One of the most interesting weizens I’ve had, yet delicate and easy to drink. (0.5l bottle from some supermarket in Kiel.)

Sample (10 cl) at Gothenburg Beer Festival 2009. Shady amber, medium white head. Fruity aroma with notes of strawberries and bananas, along with spicy notes. A bit flat mouthfeel. Dry with low bitterness.

Clear golden color with hints of copper, off-white head. Sweet, lactic scent. Weak, malty, lactic taste. Spicy aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, a bit spritzy. Low bitterness.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber color with a small longlasting off-white head. Fruity wheat malty banana aroma with some hints of appel. Sweetish wheat malty caramel flavor with some hints of banana. Has a fruity wheat malty caramel finish with some hints of banana in the aftertaste.
