Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber color with a small longlasting off-white head. Fruity wheat malty banana aroma with some hints of appel. Sweetish wheat malty caramel flavor with some hints of banana. Has a fruity wheat malty caramel finish with some hints of banana in the aftertaste.

Fancy bottle with an engraved "D" in Fraktur typeface and a paper seal on the cap. Very stylish. Claims to have been aged in beech wood barrels. Pours a beautiful copper color with medium-sized white head. Aroma is lots of caramel, strong and decisive, along with some banana and sweet malts. Taste is more caramel, spices, banana, very fruity. Light mouthfeel but that is typical for the style. Drinkability is very high. Excellent and quite underrated caramelly Hefeweizen.

Slightly hazy amber coloured body with a very thin off-white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, metal, pears and a bit of banana. Medium-bodied; Mild wheatie flavour with some funky citrus, cardboard and metallic flavours most noticeable. Aftertaste shows some light sugars and a faint, stale maltiness - nothing enticing here at all. Overall, a pretty mild beer - no pungent flavours (good or bad), and no real reason to try this one! I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Karsdadt in Frankfurt am Main, Germany on 21-February-2009, sampled at home in Washington on 06-March-2009.

bottle, pours amber with a tall off white head. Tons of clove and bannana in the aroma. Flavors are yeasty with some creamy malt, wheat, and a little dark malt bit in the finish. Refreshing.

It’s a murky, dark, red-brown-orange color and the head is medium and creamy. The aroma has sweetness and notes of malt, wheat, caramel and banana. The flavour has sweetness and not of wheat, caramel, light spicy/yeast and banana. It ends on a sweet and slightly spicy note.
