Amber with a thick off-white head. Malty and fruity notes. Medium body with a nice, bitter aftertaste.

Pours a deep copper colour with a substantial frothy off white head head. Fruity nose with zest and floral hoppy notes. Zesty upfront flavour with toasted malt mid pallete and slightly bitter bite at the end. Fantastic beer, will definitely buy again.

This is a very good beer. It’s smooth with a fruity taste. It has a distinct flavour in comparison to most other Altbiers I’ve tried.

Copper coloured with nice aroma of weak parfume and roasted malt. Flavor is same + caramel, smoke, something rotten, metal and medium bitterness. An ok, but also just a mainstream altbier!

Heavy hoppy aroma, a little bit citrus, light smell of bread, light yeast, a little bit smoke and caramel. The head is small, white and disappears fast, the colour is red. Slightly bitter flavor, long duration. Medium body with a dry texture and soft carbonation. Nice one.

The color is very beautiful deep red-brown and the head is huge and lasting. The flavour has a nice bitterness but not very many other notes that some roasted malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is moderate in length. It’s an OK altbier, but it could have more personality and body.

Bottled. Clear amber, average head. Aroma of ash and apples. Sweet with lifeless rounded mouthfeel. Sweaty and raw with evident vegetable flavours. Almost Carlsbergy.

500 mL bottle. Says copper-gold on the label, but it definitely leans more toward the copper. Thin film of head. Aroma of malt and prunes/plums. Taste is heavy on caramel, along with malt, and a distinct nuttiness. A bit of hops at the end; not much. Good.
