Nice wee head of medium consistency. It is the amber colour I say. Smells pretty god and beerlike, just as God intended. Taste is all malty and has some coffee taste going for it... but that might just be my taste buds. Some parts of this beer make it taste almost like a stout. Grainy and hoppy at the end of the beer. Rather good beer, which I had before, but alas forgot all about it.

(BB March 2007) Medium amber in colour with an orange twinge. Doesn’t get the blood racing. Pale lager-like nose and perhaps just the faintest herbal tinge. Palate shows a little more interest and some sweet malts coming through are well matched with a hoppy / bitter finish. Again another simple German beer well suited to summer drinking.

Bottle. Amber/copper pour with an inpressive head which lasted. Very fruity brew with a zesty edge. Also a nice blend of hickory. Extremely refreshing and delicious. I would recommend this one.

Overall, this wasn’t really to my tastes. very nice copper color with creamy head. good malt flavours and strong hoppiness. However, hops tasted a bit flat and somewhat metallic in the finish.

clear amber beer. Forms a decent head with an ok retention and laces. The aroma is malty with slight hint of apples. The flavour is malt, bit of apples crisp flowery and lingering hoppines and a somewhat mellow bitternes. The body is light and crisp. All in all a very drinkable and easy beer.

Quite nice, I was actually thinking of drinking bitter rather than an alt. Quite caramelly and some roast. I don’t care for the bottle design, but what’s inside counts.
