Smells pretty god and beerlike, just as God intended. Taste is all malty and has some coffee taste going for it... but that might just be my taste buds. Some parts of this beer make it taste almost like a stout. Grainy and hoppy at the end of the beer. Rather good beer, which I had before, but alas forgot all about it. Medium amber in colour with an orange twinge. Doesn’t get the blood racing. Pale lager-like nose and perhaps just the faintest herbal tinge. Palate shows a little more interest and some sweet malts coming through are well matched with a hoppy / bitter finish. Again another simple German beer well suited to summer drinking. Very fruity brew with a zesty edge. Also a nice blend of hickory. Extremely refreshing and delicious. I would recommend this one. MPA (487), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark
