| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 10, 2005 Bottle from Sainsburys. Pours copper coloured and sparkling clear with a thin, patchy head. The aromas are of tinny malt and caramel with some metallic aroma with some fruit and a little metallic with no obvious alcohol or hops in the nose. Feels a little thin and dry in the mouth and is harshly carbonated. Flavour of thin, tinny malt, boiled sweets and some fruitiness. Unpleasant pasteurised rubbish, reminds me of some horrible bottled thing from Wychwood. ryananderson (74), Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 8, 2005 Aroma is earthy and lightly malty with moderate hoppiness. Colour is very nice: bright medium orange. Pours a large white head which is mostly diminishing and produces good lacing. Flavour is malty but is balanced by the bitterness. Medium bodied with soft to lively carbonation. joergen (8627), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2005 Dark copper colour and a small head. Aroma was malty and there was caramel malt in the taste. Slight bitterness at the finish. Reminded me of a fairly ordinary English bitter: slightly more taste up front, less at the back of the mouth. Nightfall (647), Athens, Greece
