Bottle from Sainsburys. Gold/copper colour with no head to speak of. Chocolately malts and spice aromas. Bit metallic in mouth, bit dead. Then good choc finish with spicy hop. Alright but it would be better as a live beer.

Great cooper color with a foamy white head. A sweet malty aroma. Tons of flavor as it boasts a sweet honey palate with just the right amount of tart for the finish. I like it!

(Bottle 50 cl) My label claims it’s made by Holsten Brauerei, but it’s all Carlsberg anyway. Reddish amber with a pretty, dense head. Very malty with some slightly smoked notes. Soft and lightly caramelish with a hoppy finish. Matured in wooden vats. Nice brew. 050400

Bottle. Good looking beer with off white head dragging Belgian lace. Roasted aroma with hints of metal. Flavor is smooth and nutty with some hints of roast. Hoppy aftertaste.

Bottle. Copper coloured with big white head. Pretty good similar to an English bitter but a bit thinner for the strength.

Nice head, a deep long aroma, just right hoppyness and malt to make the right balance between bitterness and sweetness. A very good beer. There are lots of flavors here in an excellent blend.

Draught. Amber color. Malt, caramel, pipe tobacco, liqourice, nice enough but not deserving a re-try.
