Bottle. Copper colour with a big white head. Light hoppy aroma and a bitter dry malty and hoppy taste. Medium body and a bitter finish.

Bottle. Thin bodied and watery with a strange sour hoppy thing going on. Has some caramel, but even that tastes a bit off. Drainpour.

Bottled. Copper coloured with mediumsized foamish head, which disappears quite quickly. Lacing. Fruity and woody aroma with some bitter tones. Sweetish malty taste with hints of hops. Aftertaste is smoky/roasted. Pretty dry finish.

(Bottled, 5.0% ABV) Clear, deep copper color with a medium, tight, disappearing but lacy head. Very fruity, somewhat woody and toffeeish, slightly metallic and caramely aroma. Moderately roasted, sweetish-malty flavor with smoky, tannic hints. Dry and bitter finish. Medium-bodied, quite sharp-carbonated palate. A pretty, very easily drinkable and reasonably tasty brew. Not very interesting, though.

Brought by a friend from Germany. The only beer she brought me I knew nothing about. When I saw that it would be my first alt, I was overjoyed. But, that didn’t last long. Pours a beautiful orange/copper colour, small but persistant head. Very carbonated. Not much of an aroma, caramel maybe. Fruity malt dominates the flavor. Some hops. The aftertaste is strong roasted malt. Not as bad as I thought it was yesterday.
