Deep amber beer with a white lacing head. Interesting aroma with a touch of the cellar. Sourish yeast, caramel and some hop in the nose. The flavor contains the interesting touch too with the taste of the cask, sourish yeast, some caramel, dry finish.

500ml Bottle. Thin copper color, decent head. Very faint aroma of fruit with some amber malts and caramel. Flavor also very light, caramel, amber malts, a touch of cardboard. Decent hop bitterness in the finish, though. Rather thin and light. Not bad, really, but probably the least interesting German-made altbier I have tried to date. A disappointment. Actually, it got really boring by the end of 500 ml!

Bottle. Golden/copper color, ok offwhite head. Soap aroma with some pepper, some bready notes and some metal. Mild hoppy flavor, some metal, more metallic in the finisg, a bit dry and with a decent body. Quite clean and refreshing.

One of the babies I lost their names after my last year trip, shame. BUt slowly I’m recovering the names if I see the bottles. It was good but a little boring after a while. Coiol bottle and nice head.

Draught: Poured a golden to copper color with an off white head. The aroma seemed malty and woodsy. The taste is metallic and bittery hops.
