A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Quinns
Rich dark golden colour with a decent white head. Very malty and sweet with some wheat, corn and cardboard notes. Typical run of the mill German stuff. No beechwood to detect. Blah.

Fad. Drak denne øl til en Bahama burger, hvilket den egentlig klarede overraskende godt. En smule duft og smag af stald, men primært er det maltbasen der træder frem.

Pours a clear amber with a white head. Smells of metals. Mostly malty with a sour hoppiness. Medium carbonation. Metals in the finish. Light bodied. Rather boring.

500 ml bottle. pours copper with a good sized tan head. pugent hoppy aromas give way to smokey burnt malts as it warms. complex with some sharpness to it. not for a novice but very enjoyable. a touch to thin or it would have scored big.

500 ml bottle, from bar on P Deilmann Cruises river boat. Pours copper color, clear with a large whitish head. Rich malty aroma, caramel, light notes of molasses and spring flowers. Intial blast of toasty, fruity and caramelly malts, followed quickly by a bracing bitterness, a bit of roastiness and bright floral and herbal notes, but a little unbalanced overall. Medium body, fine, crisp carbonation.

Bottled(500ml). -as Duckstein Original
Pours a nice dark orange/pale amber colour with small off-white head and pleasant toffee fruity nose. The aroma is toasted malt and toffee with notes of nuts and fruits. Quite nice brew.
