Aug 15, 2007 Pricy cretan import. Clear reddish bronze with rocky suds. Caramelised, nutty snout. Rust, nuts, gentle roast, pear-like fruitiness. Clean, dryish, unexceptional Alt with too much metal and not enough beechwood.

Aug 2, 2007 Updated: Apr 29, 2008500ml bottle. Pours a really nice looking amber/gold colour with a small crisp-looking head. The aroma is a pleasant blend of decent malts, with some fresh (well, for an import), crisp, dry hops. The taste is more or less the same with some non-offensive metalic tastes, and a bitter finish. It’s bland yet interesting, worth a try for sure, and hits the spot on a hot summer day.
