The aroma is sweet, malty, slightly perfumated, and with notes of bread. The color is a clear light amber with a fine but fast disappearing head. Tasting the beer, the first thing that hits is a lively carbonation running across the tongue before a nice sweet malt blend hits with notes of aroma hops. It ends on a nice bitterness coming more from the malts than from the hops. A rather simple beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) My label claims it’s made by Holsten Brauerei, but it’s all Carlsberg anyway. Reddish amber with a pretty, dense head. Very malty with some slightly smoked notes. Soft and lightly caramelish with a hoppy finish. Matured in wooden vats. Nice brew. 050400

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep golden orange with a fluffy, slowly collapsing and light orange head. Aroma is mild corn fruity and of malt. Flavour starts light sweetend with a biscuit like malt note and a mild bitterness following. Medium dry and slowly building bitter finish. Clean and crisp.

Bottled. Clear amber, average head. Aroma of ash and apples. Sweet with lifeless rounded mouthfeel. Sweaty and raw with evident vegetable flavours. Almost Carlsbergy.

Bottle. Slightly sour and strange (soy?) aroma. Brown/reddish colour. Flavour is fruity but definitely not flowery. Nice bitterness. Probably a good session beer.

Bottled. Copper coloured with mediumsized foamish head, which disappears quite quickly. Lacing. Fruity and woody aroma with some bitter tones. Sweetish malty taste with hints of hops. Aftertaste is smoky/roasted. Pretty dry finish.
