Get ready to cheat fate with a foreboding potion of wheat and barley malt temptation. Pure and unfiltered, the first taste forewarns the unsuspecting of spicy clove and smooth banana lurking around the corner.

Cloudy yellow and orange pint with a fluffy white head. Yeasty aroma with some clove and banana. Middle of the road body with slight dryness at the beginning and lasting yeast in the palate.

Draft at Bowie location. Came to the table a hazy gold with no head. Aroma of bananas, lemons, cloves, and wheatiness. On the thin side. Sweet and tangy upfront with plenty of bananas and lemons. Spicy cloves on the backside. A semi-crisp, refreshing finish. Solid for the style.

Draft. Hazy pale golden beer with no head. Clove and light banana aroma with light wheat/malt and light citrus. Wheat/malt flavor with light orange and light spice. Medium body. Wheat/malt lingers with light orange and light spice.

Pretty distinct flavors-smooth banana, spiced clove, tart lemon. Kind of a wheaty-grainy taste. Very bright yellow , looks refreshing. Could use more carbonation, was a bit too flat for a hefe.

Hazy golden coloured body with a nice white head. Aroma of nice lemons, wheat and yeast. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with a lot of lemons and a strong scent of hops! Aftertaste potent, but strong in showing the good flavours. Overall, a nice wheat - especially in the summer heat! I sampled this six ounce sample from pseudo-draught at the Old Dominion 2005 Beer Festival on 24-June-2005 in Ashburn, Virginia.

The aroma was bananas and clove with a somewhat odd toasty aspect. The beer arrived lightly cloudy pale goden with a well lastint white head which laced the glass from top to bottom. The flavor was mostly overripe bananas with a very light spice presence. The flavor was a bit too sweet and while never cloying did not have the expected dryness in the finish. The body was medium with a moderate carbontion but a bit low for a hefe. An ok pint, but nothing special.

Draft at Arundel Mills at the X-mas in July party. Pours a pale hazy straw golden with a white head. Very nice banana ester aroma, with just a subtle hint of clove. Body and texture is tad light for my tastes, but it is not watery. Flavor is simple, pale wheat malts and banana, with a good amount of residual sweetness. Clean and refreshing finish. This is not overly complex, but still quite good for a summer beer. Hefe purists may have some things to say, but I don’t rate to style. I rate on how much I enjoy the beer, and this was good.
