Clear lemon yellow body with a white head that was gone by the time it reached my table. Aroma is medium sweet, banana, clove, some wheat. Taste is medium sweet, banana, clove, other spice, some wheat. Watery light body, some crispness. A solid take on a Hefe.

The appearance is of apricot nectar. Loch-Ness Murky! Tiny, white, creamy head. No lacing. The aroma is of banana and clove. Typical of the style. 'Nuff said. The flavor is fruity and yeasty up front. Perfectly balanced with a tart hop presence on the backside. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. Short, tart, dry finish. Different for a German Wheat, but very nice!

Draft. Hazy pale golden beer with no head. Clove and light banana aroma with light wheat/malt and light citrus. Wheat/malt flavor with light orange and light spice. Medium body. Wheat/malt lingers with light orange and light spice.

Hazy golden coloured body with a nice white head. Aroma of nice lemons, wheat and yeast. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with a lot of lemons and a strong scent of hops! Aftertaste potent, but strong in showing the good flavours. Overall, a nice wheat - especially in the summer heat! I sampled this six ounce sample from pseudo-draught at the Old Dominion 2005 Beer Festival on 24-June-2005 in Ashburn, Virginia.

Draft, Bowie location. Pours a very cloudy, golden-yellow color; white head with pleasant lacing. Scattered bananas and cloves in the aroma; reserved. Relaxed carbonation. Medium, chewy cloves and bananas in the mouthfeel: quite fruity; pleasant hefeweizen core, but lacking some body and density. Medium, clove and banana and citrus finish.

This is the June 2003 release. Very refreshing for summer time. The banana, clove, and spices dominate the aroma and flavor, but you still know this is a wheat beer. Make sense? A mostly cloudy appperance, similar to our lousy weekend weather in the Mid-Atlantic as of late. Has your basic Hefe look to it. Very smooth, nice soft carbonation, and extremeley drinkable.

Pale gold, very cloudy. Lots of banana and clove in the nose. Good palate, rich and silky, very smooth. Banana flavors predominate, good spiciness.
