Mar 9, 2008 On tap in Baltimore, poured a light ruby color with a slight head, with mild lacing. Nice sweet aroma and really good fruity malt flavor, with a hint of spice. Really enjoyed this one.

Feb 25, 2008 Growler. Poured a mostly clear amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of light spice, milk chocolate and sweet fruit. The flavor was malty with a mild sweetness. Light spice on the semi-dry finish.

does not count  Feb 11, 2008 This is a good oktoberfest beer. Its actually a Munich Dunkel, the first of this kind I have ever had. Since this is my first I don’t really have much to compare it to, but as far as overall quality it lives up to DuClaw’s great reputation. Near no head, amber color, not really heavy, clean finish, and the spices are definitely tasted after the maltyness sets in.

Dec 28, 2007 Draft at Fell’s Point. Poured amber color with no head. Aroma has hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. It’s quite malty with Toffee and Caramel, but that’s quickly overpowered by the spices. Nothing outstanding.
